Hi! I am Marisa Baratta, the director and the founder of Rainbow’s Reach! Rainbow’s Reach has been my dream since I was 17 years old. The idea and goal for Rainbow’s Reach was for ALL children to have a place where they belong, where they fit in, where they could be themselves without having the constant pressure of traditional therapies put on them. I wanted to create a place where true integration would happen, a place where socialization and other skills could be taught and grow in a natural environment where our students didn’t feel the pressure of traditional therapies. A place where children could just learn through fun. I am so happy and grateful we have been able to make this dream come true! I have worked with children for over 18 years. First as a preschool teacher then an educational direction, a SEIT and then finally opening Rainbow’s Reach. I hold three master’s degrees and am a licensed teacher in both education and students with disabilities. Currently I am furthering my education in an advanced master’s program for Applied Behavior Analysis with the goal of becoming a licensed BCBA. Everything we do at Rainbow’s Reach is for the benefit of our students. Our students are our hearts and why we love this program so much! Rainbow’s Reach is a community, a family, and a special place that I will always work to make sure provides the best programs to our students!
To nurture our children in a safe inclusive, and supportive environment through various community classes.
We believe in the value and uniqueness of each child. We strive to help in facilitating a world where children with special needs or developmental disabilities and typically developing peers recognize each other’s abilities not disabilities and learn together in inclusive environments.
